REPUBLIC SERVICES’ SERVICE DISRUPTION ALLEVIATED BY TENTATIVE LABOR AGREEMENT REACHED TODAY 
As of late afternoon today, Republic Services has officially announced that a tentative labor agreement has been reached with their Teamsters labor group in Stockton, CA which will enable full collection service to resume on Monday, July 21, 2025 in San Pablo.
Beginning Saturday, July 19, 2025, Republic Service workers will return to work and catch up with collection efforts City-wide. Residents should place their trash and recycling carts at the curb for collection.
The City of San Pablo appreciates the community’s patience throughout this difficult collection service disruption. The City intends to work with Republic Services in seeking rate relief for its ratepayers during this service disruption.
