New Recycling Containers 
A MESSAGE FROM SOUTH RIVER DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
New Automatic Side Load (ASL) recycling containers are in the process of being delivered to addresses in South River.
Until July 31st, you must continue to use your existing recycling bins.
Beginning August 1st, the new ASL carts must be used following the placement instructions indicated below.
- Clearance of 4 feet when placed at the curb
- Handles and wheels facing your residence
- Free from any overhead obstructions
- Lid closed with all materials inside the cart
