New Recycling Containers 
A MESSAGE FROM SOUTH RIVER DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
New Automatic Side Load (ASL) recycling containers have been delivered to addresses in South River.
For pick up on Thursday, July 31st, you must continue to use your old recycling bins. Any recycling in the new ASL carts will not be collected.
For pick up on Friday, August 1st and all pick up dates after, the new ASL carts must be used following the placement instructions indicated below. Any recycling in the old bins will not be collected.
- Clearance of 4 feet when placed at the curb
- Handles and wheels facing your residence
- Free from any overhead obstructions
- Lid closed with all materials inside the cart

Missed addresses have already been submitted to Middlesex County. A delivery date for these addresses has not yet been provided. In the meantime, recycling may be dropped off at the Recycling Center (9 Ivan Way) on Saturdays from 8:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
