Due to the high temperatures expected in the region over the next few days, the Paramount Park Community Center (14400 Paramount Blvd.) will be activated as a Cooling Center from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 7 and Friday, August 8. Water and nutritional snacks will be provided in a temperature controlled environment to help individuals of all ages beat the heat.
