Methuen-Obayashi, contractor for the Department of Public Works Environmental Protection Division, will temporarily close part of the Riverwalk for the Cemetery Brook Drain Tunnel Project. 

Closure Details:

• Dates: Monday, August 19 through Friday, August 23, 2025
• Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily
• Location: Fisher Cats Stadium south to Dunbar Street

What to Expect:

• The affected section of the Riverwalk will be closed during work hours.
• Signs will direct pedestrians and cyclists around the area. 

Please plan ahead and avoid the zone whenever possible. Thank you for your cooperation.
