Pavement Rehabilitation Program

Dear Residents, Schools, and Businesses, Due to ongoing police investigations at Wilcox Avenue and Clara Street, the Pavement Rehabilitation Program (Wilcox Avenue STR-004; Santa Ana St & Park Ave STR-006; Cecilia STR-007) was temporarily put on hold. Work is now rescheduled to resume Wednesday, August 13.
Revised construction schedule is as follows: Wednesday (August 13): • Grind existing pavement along Wilcox Avenue from Elizabeth Street to northern city limit. • Install new asphalt along Wilcox Avenue from Patata Street to Elizabeth Street (7:00 AM – 12:00 PM). Thursday (August 14): • Install new asphalt along Wilcox Avenue from Elizabeth Street to northern city limit (7:00 AM – 12:00 PM).
All residents, schools, and businesses will retain access to their property. However, access restrictions will apply to larger vehicles such as freight and cargo delivery trucks. For assistance with property access during construction, please contact the on-site Construction Foreman Luis Olmos at (909) 963-2696.
