San RafaelPolice and Fire are continuing recovery and investigation efforts.  

Officials have assessed the efforts and developed a timeline for the ongoing impact and closure of Canal Street between Harbor Street and Hoag Street.

Canal Street between Harbor and Hoag Street will remain closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic through Wednesday.  This closure is tentative and may expand or decrease.  We thank our community for their understanding.

We continue to ask the public to stay away from the closed area and be respectful of residents in the neighborhood.

We are thankful for our community and the support they have given to the displaced victims and the first responders and work crews at the scene.

Updates will be provided if there are changes.
