The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is urgently requesting the public’s assistance in locating Eunice Blue, 73, of Burton, who was reported missing late Friday night.

Just after 11 p.m. on August 29, 2025, deputies responded to Lonesome Court in Burton after Eunice was discovered missing from her home. Family told deputies that Eunice, who suffers from early stages of dementia and other medical conditions, had left the residence at some point during the night.

Eunice is described as approximately 5’2” tall, 180 pounds, and was last believed to be wearing a short black wig cut to her neck. Family noted that she has significant difficulty walking due to swelling in her feet, and they do not believe she traveled far on her own.

Deputies are actively searching the area and following up on information.
