Sheriff’s Office seeking information in reference to a home struck by gunfire 
Shortly before midnight, early morning of September 3, 2025 the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received calls of shots fired in the area of Grays Hill Acres, in Burton.
When deputies arrived, they observed one residence was struck multiple times by gunfire. Although there were no reported injuries, the residence was occupied during the time of the shooting.
The shooter has not been identified at this time. This incident is still under investigation. If anyone has any information they are encouraged to contact Investigator Master Sergeant Duncan, 843-255-3418.
