Several events are taking place around town this weekend.
The Fallen Heros 5k run will be held on Saturday morning at 9:00am. The run will begin on 16^th Ave in front of Bar Anticipation. At the start of the run, 16th Ave will be shut down from B St. to Railroad Ave until all runners have turned onto B St. The run will continue down B St, to 19th Ave, then to Snyder Ave. Once on Snyder Ave, runners will continue to North Blvd. around the lake and back to Main Street, then North through Lake Como. Road closures will begin at 8:30 am. The race is scheduled to start at 9:00 am and conclude by 11:00 am.  Please expect some delays during the hours of the race. 17th Ave. and Main St. and 18th Ave. and Main St. will remain open on the East side of Main Street in Lake Como for vehicles to travel North.

The Belmar Pro Surf Tournament begins today and continues throughout the weekend on the beach between 16^th and 19^th Avenues.

Miles for Mike swim event will take place on Saturday morning on the 10^th Ave beach.

Autism Beach Bash Surfing Event will be held on Sunday. This event will take place on the beach between 13^th and 15^th Avenues.

Twin Lights bike ride will be passing through town on Sunday morning. Bikes will be traveling on Ocean Ave, 5^th Ave, Main St, and 16^th Ave. No road closures are expected for this event.

As a reminder, paid parking is still in effect and no dogs are allowed on the beach until October 1^st.
