DARE 2025-2025
Sheriff Joey Lemons and the Stokes County Sheriff's Office are happy to announce the start of the DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program with our Stokes County Schools. DARE is a cooperative effort between the Stokes County Sheriff's Office and Stokes County Schools as well as the parents or guardians of our students. DARE not only presents information on the harmful effects of drug use but also covers topics like peer pressure, stress, empathy, being a good citizen, bullying and many others. DARE teaches students skills they get to practice using in various situations. DARE is about making good decisions when it comes to the use of drugs and in making life choices. Sheriff Joey Lemons and the Stokes County Sheriff's Office are commented in our efforts to help keep kids safe in Stokes County.
