The City of Amsterdam announces that due to a water repair on Steadwell Avenue the following road closure and detour will take place beginning at 1:00 p.m. today, Monday, September 15, 2025, and will remain closed until work is complete:
Steadwell Avenue - Guy Park Avenue to Golf Course Road will be closed.
St. Mary’s Hospital Emergency Room Entrance will still be accessible from the lower part of Steadwell Avenue or through the Guy Park Avenue entrance.
Drivers are asked to take alternate routes during this time, as no traffic will be allowed through the work zone.
