Due to the high temperatures expected in the region, the Paramount Park Community Center (14400 Paramount Blvd.) will be activated as a Cooling Center on Tuesday, September 16, and Wednesday, September 17, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Water and nutritional snacks will be provided in a temperature controlled environment to help individuals of all ages beat the heat. The Splash Pad (14618 Orange Ave.) will also be available for free from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. through Wednesday to provide families with alternative heat relief activities.
