System Wide Boil Water Order for Northeast Water 
PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
Northeast Mt. Vernon Water Company is issuing a precautionary boil water advisory due to low water pressure. Residents are urged to boil all water for at least five (5) minutes before using it for drinking, cooking, or food preparation. This step is necessary to protect public health.
This advisory will remain in place until all required testing has been completed and cleared under Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) regulations.
A follow-up announcement will be made when this advisory is lifted.
