Franklin Township to Host Annual Diwali Celebration on October 4, 2025

Franklin Township invites the community to come together for its annual Diwali Celebration on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Franklin High School, 500 Elizabeth Avenue, Somerset, NJ.

Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, is celebrated worldwide by people of many different faiths. It symbolizes the victory of light over darkness and good over evil. This year’s celebration will feature a vibrant evening of music and dance performances, cultural displays, local vendors and artists, and more. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet elected officials and connect with neighbors in the spirit of unity and joy.

The event is free and open to the public. No registration required. 

Franklin Township is proud to continue this tradition, celebrating the richness of culture and diversity that makes our community shine bright.
