Public Notice: Sewer System Smoke Testing - Town of Old Fort

The Town of Old Fort will be conducting smoke testing of the sanitary sewer system October 6–8, 2025.

This study will involve the opening and inspection of manholes located in streets and public utility easements. The primary purpose of the testing is to identify breaks and defects within the sewer system. The smoke testing process will also help locate points where stormwater or surface water may be entering the system.
