As a result of excessive rainfall conditions, a Flood Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) for parts of parts of Contra Costa County including Richmond.  This Avisory will be in effect until 6:45 PM this evening (October 13, 2025)

Urban area and small stream flooding is expected, especially in low-lying and poor drainage areas.  Showers are expected to continue until 11 PM with possible rainfall amount between 0.5 to 1 inch.

Remember: Turn Around, Don’t Drown when encountering flooded roads.  Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
