SRPD Participates in "No-Shave November" 
November is almost here, which means officers and employees from the South River Police Department will once again be ditching their razors for No Shave November!
No Shave November is all about embracing our hair, which many patients lose during cancer treatment. Money typically spent on razors and shaving is instead donated to charity for cancer research. Every participant from our department has personally made a donation to the cause.
Whether you can grow a beard or not, there are ways to help. Support the cause by donating, raising awareness, or inspiring others to get involved. Other than growing a beard, you can participate by:
• Skipping the nail salon and donating the difference
• Flaunting your natural hair for the month
• Letting your dog have the month off from the groomer
• Avoiding facials, massages, or spa days and donating the funds
Everyone has a role to play in the fight against cancer. We’re asking you to help us as we join the fight. Together, we can make a real impact. Donations to the South River Police Department’s team can be made directly to No-Shave.org at the link below.
Our participation in No Shave November begins today and runs through Monday, December 15th. Be sure to check back as we post progress photos and updates.
