Road Closures: 

• Union St. (Shasta St. to Clay St. )
• Webster St (Pickering St to Smyth Road.) – intermittent closures for sidewalk & curb
• Smyth Rd (Webster St to Dave St.) – intermittent closures for sidewalk & curb
• Kennard Road (Smyth Rd to Lindahl St.) – intermittent closures for sidewalk & curb
• Maple St and Salmon St Intersection – intermittent closures for sidewalk & curb
• Maple St and Webster St Intersection– intermittent closures for sidewalk & curb

 
Partial Lane Closures or Lane Shifts – Traffic to be maintained through the work zones unless noted below

• Brown Ave. (Queen City Ave. to W. Baker St.), northbound traffic to be detoured, southbound to remain open.
• Massabesic St. (Valley St. to Jewett St.) eastbound lane closure - expect alternating one lane traffic
• Cohas Ave. (Greenwood Court to Island Pond Road) – lanes shifted

What to Expect and Important Notes
 

• Expect road closures and detours during construction hours.
• Please follow posted detour signs and allow extra travel time.
• Parking will be prohibited within the construction area.
• Drivers and pedestrians should use extreme caution when traveling past work zones, especially at night or in adverse weather when visibility is limited.
• Driveway access to local businesses and homes within closures will be maintained and closely coordinated by the Contractor.
• For lane shifts or temporary lane impacts during construction, follow new lane markings, barricaded routes, or traffic cones and allow extra travel time.
• Whenever possible, we encourage drivers to plan ahead and avoid the construction area.
