Public Announcement – Downtown Street Closure for Christmas Activities 
Lighted Christmas Parade, Wednesday, December 3, 2025
The City of Sonora would like to inform all residents that the downtown area will be closed to vehicular traffic beginning at approximately 3:30 p.m. December 3, 2025 (Wednesday) in preparation for our Christmas events and parade activities.
Access to City Hall will remain open. Citizens needing to conduct City Hall business may continue to park on the south side of the building along Concho Street.
For your convenience, the drive-up payment drop box located in the west alley behind City Hall will also remain accessible during the street closure.

Santa & Mrs. Claus 5:30 P.M.
Bring your letters to Santa to drop in Santa’s Mailbox after your visit Santa.
Lighted Christmas Parade 6:30 P.M.
