Road Work Notice: December 8 - December 12 - 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. daily

Road Closures: 

  • Union St. (Shasta St. to Clay St. )
  • Webster St. (Pickering St. to Smyth Rd.) – intermittent closures for sidewalk & shoulders
  • Smyth Rd. (Webster St. to Dave St.) – intermittent closures for sidewalk & shoulders
  • Kennard Rd. (Smyth Rd. to Lindahl St.) – intermittent closures for sidewalk & shoulders
Partial Lane Closures or Lane Shifts – Traffic to be maintained through the work zones unless noted below
  • Brown Ave. (Queen City Ave. to W. Baker St.), northbound traffic to be detoured, southbound to remain open.
  • Elm St. (Calef Rd to Brown Ave.) – lanes shifted, one way alternating, for paving
  • Cohas Ave. (Greenwood Ct. to Island Pond Rd.) – lanes shifted, one way alternating
  • Bodwell Rd.  (near Sunset Pine Dr.) – lanes shifted, one way alternating
  • Riverdale Ave. ( West Mitchell St. to Smyth Ferry Rd. Dead End) – 12/8/25 & 12/9/25 – shoulder work
Temporary Lane Impacts – Traffic to be maintained through the work zones 
  • Connecting Rd (at the Pepperidge Drive intersection)- periodic temporary daily lane closures maintaining at least one lane at all times with no in-road construction
  • Bremer St.  (Upland St. to Electric St.) – 12/9/25 thru 12/11/25  
  • Janet Ct. (Mooresville Rd. to Dead End) – 12/11/25
  • McGregor St. (Near Bridge St.) – 12/12/25
 
What to Expect and Important Notes
 
  • Expect road closures and detours during construction hours.
  • Please follow posted detour signs and allow extra travel time.
  • Parking will be prohibited within the construction area.
  • Drivers and pedestrians should use extreme caution when traveling past work zones, especially at night or in adverse weather when visibility is limited.
  • Driveway access to local businesses and homes within closures will be maintained and closely coordinated by the Contractor.
  • For lane shifts or temporary lane impacts during construction, follow new lane markings, barricaded routes, or traffic cones and allow extra travel time.
  • Whenever possible, we encourage drivers to plan ahead and avoid the construction area.
