As a reminder, With the impending snowstorm expected this weekend, residents are reminded there is absolutely no parking on Township roadways during snowstorms. Vehicles must be off Township roadways until the snow plows have cleared the roads. FTPD will be enforcing the Prohibited Parking During Snow Emergency Ordinance (226-09).
This prohibition is applicable whether or not a “no parking/snow emergency” sign is posted on any street. The parking prohibition shall remain in effect until the streets have been plowed sufficiently and to the extent that parking will not interfere with the normal flow of traffic. Any unoccupied vehicle parked or standing in violation shall be deemed a nuisance and a menace to the safe and proper regulation of traffic, and any police officer may provide for the removal of such vehicle.
Exempt streets (parking where permitted) - Brookline Avenue, Home Street, Ambrose Street and Philips Road.
