Due to utility work taking place in the area of Prospect Street and Monush Street today, December 17th, the following closures and traffic pattern changes are in effect:
- Reid Street will be closed at Main Street. Traffic coming into South River from Sayreville will only be able to go straight onto Main Street.
- Prospect Street will be closed to tractor trailer and truck traffic at Old Bridge Turnpike.
Detours are in place in the affected areas.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area and plan an alternate route, if possible.
