Motorists should expect heavy traffic on Route 27 in Kingston between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM due to the 250th Celebration Event and the public reenactment of the historic Conference on Horseback.
🐎 The Conference on Horseback (FREE Event)
For the first time ever, witness the dramatic reenactment of the legendary 1777 meeting where
General George Washington,
General Greene, and
General Sullivan debated whether to continue fighting the British or retreat to Morristown for the winter.
🎤 Reenactors will wear
wireless microphones, allowing the public to hear the historic debate unfold.
