* WHEN...From Friday afternoon through Sunday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Expect power outages that last more than a day and extensive tree damage due to the ice. Travel could be impossible.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Onset of sleet and freezing rain will spread from northwest to southeast Friday afternoon into early Saturday morning, with a mix of wintry precipitation continuing into the day Sunday. Dangerously cold temperatures are also expected Friday night into early next week.
