A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect through early Monday. Heavy snow will continue today, followed by sleet and freezing rain this afternoon. Icy conditions, hazardous roads, downed trees, power lines, and possible power outages are expected. Very cold temperatures will follow throughout next week.

The Department of Public Works has been plowing since this morning and will continue throughout the day. Residents are urged to avoid all unnecessary travel and keep vehicles off roadways to allow plows and emergency vehicles to operate safely.

- Please assist the Fire Department by clearing snow from fire hydrants near your property

- Monday trash pickup is postponed for Belmar & Lake Como, will resume on the next scheduled pickup day
- Recycling Center will be closed Monday
