Due to a power outage by Southern California Edison, the traffic signal at the intersection of Victoria Street and Placentia Avenue is currently out. Commuters are urged to use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion. Costa Mesa Police officers will assist with traffic control at that intersection during peak congestion period until power has been restored. Edison has a repair crew on the way and it is estimated that power will be restored by 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
