Starting Tuesday, February 17, 2026, the Belmar and Lake Como Department of Public Works will begin snow removal operations on Main Street in preparation for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
Main Street will be closed in four-block increments each night from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Crews will begin at 5th Avenue and Main Street and proceed south. “No Parking” signs will be posted in the areas where work is taking place.
The road closures will continue nightly, moving south in four-block sections, until crews clear all of Main Street in both towns.
