WINTER STORM WARNING: Through Monday Afternoon
WHEN: expected to begin on Sunday at 4am through Monday evening
WHAT: Accumulations between 4 and 12 inches.
National weather service is predicting Snowfall expected to begin around 4am Sunday morning through Monday afternoon. Snow accumulations expected to be between 4 to 12 inches with wind gusts up to 40 mph. We could see up to 2 inches per hour during the height of the storm.
Travel could be difficult and hazardous through the Monday morning commute. Please stay off the roadways, if possible, to allow our DPW to clear the roads properly. The storm is expected to effect Somerset, Susex, Warren, Morris, Hunterdon, Middlesex and Mercer counties.
Franklin Twp residents are reminded that there is no parking on any municipal roadways during a snow storm.
