Public Notice- Update on Winnipesaukee River Ice Blockage
The City of Franklin continues to monitor the potential flooding threat posed by the recent buildup of ice on the Winnipesaukee River near Stevens Mill. Conditions on the river have significantly improved over the last 48 hours and authorities will continue to monitor the situation as it develops. The Emergency Opertions Center will remain at a Partial Monitoring status for the foreseeable future and the City of Franklin will provide updates on the city website (https://www.franklinnh.gov/) as necessary. The city asks that all citizens remain vigilant. Please call 911 if you see or notice hazardous conditions.
