? Traffic Advisory: Kresson Road Infrastructure Project
Beginning on or about March 9, 2026, a required water main replacement project will take place on Kresson Road between Springdale Road and Cropwell Road.
We recognize that Kresson Road is one of Cherry Hill’s busiest corridors and that this project will be disruptive, particularly during the school year. This upgrade must be completed before Camden County resurfaces the roadway later this summer.
Traffic Impacts
• Weekdays beginning at 8:00 AM, Kresson Road will be closed westbound toward Springdale Road
• Eastbound traffic toward Cropwell Road will remain open
• Work will pause daily from 2:15 PM–2:45 PM to accommodate Cherry Hill East dismissal traffic
• Daily work is expected to conclude around 4:00 PM
• Westbound closures are anticipated for approximately four weeks, with the overall project lasting about two months
• Detours will be clearly posted via Evesham Road and Cropwell Road
There are no anticipated water service interruptions during this project.
Daytime lane closures are necessary to allow crews to safely complete the work in phases and minimize the overall length of the project. Limited overnight or weekend work may occur if needed.
Cherry Hill Police Officers will be present to assist with traffic management, maintain emergency access, and help reduce congestion and unsafe conditions. Their role is traffic safety and public assistance.
We encourage motorists to plan alternate routes when possible and allow additional travel time. Surrounding neighborhoods may experience increased traffic, and drivers are reminded to obey posted speed limits.
