Due to a motor vehicle accident involving a damaged utility pole, Prospect Street will be closed to eastbound traffic at Old Bridge Turnpike while repairs are being made. Westbound traffic (heading towards Old Bridge Turnpike) on Prospect Street is unaffected Motorists are asked to avoid the area and plan an alternate route, if possible.
During the repair process, power outages in the immediate area are possible. Repairs are anticipated to be completed this afternoon.
