At 911 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Belmont, or near Platteville, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...Penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Mineral Point, Darlington, Belmont, Waldwick, Elk Grove, Fayette, Lamont, Platte Mounds, and Calamine. This includes U.S. Highway 151 between mile markers 23 and 37.
