Partial Lane Closures or Lane Shifts – Traffic to be maintained through the work zones unless noted below
- Brown Ave. (Queen City Ave. to W. Baker St.), northbound traffic to be detoured, southbound to remain open. Detour to remain in place after work hours.
- South Willow St. / Queen City Ave. (intersection of S. Willow St., Queen City Ave. and Cilley Rd.), expect partial lane closures and detours during work hours.
- Mammoth Rd. (between Porter St to Nelson St) – expect alternating one way traffic for water and sewer
Temporary Lane Impacts – Intermittent impacts, traffic to be maintained through the work zones during construction and lane closures will be re-opened on a nightly basis.
- Rand St. (Hanover St. to Crystal St.) temporary lane closures for pavement milling and roadside improvements.
What to Expect and Important Notes
- Please follow direction from posted traffic signs, police details, flaggers and allow extra travel time through the work zone.
- For lane shifts or temporary lane closures during construction, please be aware of new lane markings, barricaded routes, or traffic cones.
- Parking will be prohibited within the construction area.
- Drivers and pedestrians should use extreme caution when traveling past work zones, especially at night or in adverse weather, when visibility is limited.
- Driveway access to local businesses and homes within closures will be maintained and closely coordinated by the Contractor.
- Whenever possible, we encourage drivers to plan ahead and avoid the construction area.
