Due to utility work taking place on Reid Street on Monday, April 6th and Tuesday, April 7th, the following closures and traffic pattern changes will be in effect: between the approximate hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM:
- Reid Street will be closed at Main Street. Traffic coming into South River from Sayreville will only be able to go straight onto Main Street.
- Prospect Street will be closed to eastbound traffic at Old Bridge Turnpike.
Detours will be in place in the affected areas.
Additionally, the South River Office on Aging and South River Parks and Recreation will be closed.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area and plan an alternate route, if possible.
