Extreme Fire Danger Through the Weekend
Officials are urging all residents to remain vigilant as extreme fire danger conditions are expected today through the weekend. Low humidity, gusty winds, and ongoing severe drought conditions have created an environment where fires can start easily and spread rapidly.
A burn ban remains in effect, and all outdoor burning is strictly prohibited. Anyone found in violation of the burn ban will be receive a citation.
Residents are reminded to report any fires immediately by dialing 911.
