* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Western Walworth County in southeastern Wisconsin... Rock County in south central Wisconsin...

* Until 615 PM CDT.

* At 533 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Orfordville, or 8 miles east of Brodhead, moving east at 25 mph. THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR Southern ROCK and Walworth counties. HAZARD...Baseball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Broadcast media. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured. Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs, siding, and vehicles.

* Locations impacted include... Janesville, Beloit, Delavan, Milton, Clinton, Sharon, Darien, Orfordville, Footville, Richmond, Newark, Tiffany, Hanover, Allens Grove, Avalon, Afton, Shopiere, Emerald Grove, Johnstown Center, and Leyden.

* AFFECTED AREAS: ROCK, WI ... WALWORTH, WI

Instructions:

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the basement or small central room in a sturdy structure. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. This is a dangerous storm. Prepare immediately for large destructive hail capable of producing significant damage. People outside should move to shelter inside a strong building, and stay away from windows. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for south central and southeastern Wisconsin.
