Traffic Advisory Wings Over Solano -- The Fairfield Police Department is advising the community of important traffic and access information for the Wings Over Solano Air Show at Travis Air Force Base on April 25–26, 2026. The event runs from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day.
Public Access Instructions
• All public access to the event will be through the Hospital Gate via Air Base Parkway.
• The Main Gate and North Gate will not be open for public entry; these gates are reserved for Department of Defense ID holders only.
• Inbound traffic to the base will close at 3:30 p.m. daily. No additional vehicles will be admitted after that time.
• Every adult age 18 and older must present a valid ID at the security checkpoint. Mandatory security screenings will be conducted.
Traffic and Transportation: Heavy traffic and delays are expected. Attendees are strongly encouraged to arrive early and plan accordingly.
To reduce congestion, free electric shuttle service will be available from the Tom Hannigan Fairfield–Vacaville Train Station beginning at 9:00 a.m. Return shuttles will run starting at 5:00 p.m.
