INDOT announces an ongoing road closure that will impact U.S. 421/State Road 39 south of Rossville.
On Monday, April 27, crews closed U.S. 421/S.R. 39 between Gibson Court and County Road 800 N. for a culvert replacement. The closure was originally anticipated to begin in July but was implemented early due to the condition of the structure. Construction is anticipated to last until September but is weather-dependent and subject to change.
The official detour around the closure follows S.R. 26 to S.R. 75 to U.S. 421/39. INDOT encourages drivers to seek an alternate route.
