Motor Vehicle Crashes Impacting Traffic on I-40 and NC 226 North
Motorists are advised of traffic delays due to two separate motor vehicle crashes in McDowell County.
A crash on Interstate 40 eastbound at Exit 75 (Parker Padgett Road) is causing significant delays. Additionally, a separate crash on NC 226 North on Coxes Creek Mountain is also impacting travel.
Emergency personnel are currently on the scene of both incidents. Motorists are encouraged to avoid these areas and seek alternate routes to minimize delays.
