The Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) and Department of General Services (DGS) would like to inform the community that the Playground at Turkey Thicket Recreation Center (1100 Michigan Avenue NE) will be closed for resurfacing starting Monday, May 4, 2026. The projected completion date, weather permitting, is June 5, 2026. The splash pad operations will not be impacted by the playground resurfacing.
