As part of the repair and beautification of the Pleasant Street stairs on Canal Street, daytime lane and access restrictions will be in place starting Monday, May 11 through Sunday, May 17, as follows:
- Canal Street (Southbound only) will be restricted to a single lane between Spring Street and Granite Street
- Access between W Merrimack Street to Canal Street southbound will be closed
These areas will be reopened during non-work hours. Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes, otherwise please follow the posted detour signs. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to enhance our communities infrastructure.
