* At 453 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Bluford, or 12 miles northeast of Mount Vernon, moving east at 35 mph. This storm or complex of storms has produced damaging winds, downing power lines and trees, in parts of Marion county. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
