* At 458 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Ashley, or 12 miles southeast of Nashville, moving east at 25 mph. This storm produced 60 mph winds as it moved thru nearby Ashley in Washington county recently. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include... Mount Vernon, Woodlawn, and Waltonville. This includes the following highways... Interstate 57 in Illinois between Mile Markers 91 and 99. Interstate 64 in Illinois between Mile Markers 68 and 78.
