HOLLISTER, CALIFORNIA – May 18, 2026 – The Hollister Police Department investigated a felony child sexual abuse case involving a 37-year-old Hollister resident, resulting in a lengthy state prison sentence following a successful prosecution.

Upon receiving information regarding the allegations, Hollister Police Department detectives initiated an extensive investigation. The investigation, led by Detective Garcia, involved collecting evidence, conducting multiple follow up interviews, and coordinating with partner agencies throughout the case. During the investigation, detectives identified Ray David Aparicio as the suspect responsible for multiple felony sexual offenses involving a minor.
