TRAVEL ALERT | US 550 Durango to Silverton: During the annual Iron Horse Bicycle Classic on Saturday (5/23/26) US 550 will fully CLOSE in both directions to vehicle travel from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m between Purgatory Ski Resort and Silverton.
