Continental Paving Inc., the contractor for the Department of Public Works (DPW), has begun paving work on Day Street (from Hooksett Rd. to Blevens Dr.) and Bridget Lane (from Day St. to Barrett St.), starting May 26, 2026. The work is anticipated to last approximately four weeks and is expected to be completed by the end of June.
Parking on the street will be limited during work hours, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Motorists are advised to follow all posted detour signs and seek alternate routes when possible. Travelers are encouraged to use Blevens Dr. as an alternate route.
Residents should plan accordingly and expect potential delays, as well as limited access to properties during construction hours. Every effort will be made to minimize disruptions and maintain access whenever possible.
