RPDPS Conducts Citywide Sex Registrant Compliance Sweep

On Thursday, May 28, 2026, Officers and Detectives with the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety conducted a citywide sex registrant compliance sweep to ensure registered offenders living within the community were complying with the terms and conditions of their registration requirements.

The City of Rohnert Park currently has 61 registered sex offenders residing throughout the city. Of those registrants, 10 are currently under active supervision through either California State Parole or Sonoma County Probation.

During the operation, officers conducted compliance checks at registrants’ listed residences and reviewed adherence to registration requirements and supervision conditions. The sweep resulted in all but one registrant being found in compliance.

As a result of the operation, Trevor Reynolds was arrested and booked into the Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Facility for the following violation:

·         Penal Code § 3056 – Parole Violation

The Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety regularly conducts compliance operations such as these as part of its ongoing commitment to community safety and offender accountability. These proactive enforcement efforts help ensure registrants are complying with state laws and supervision requirements while allowing officers to maintain updated and accurate information regarding registrants residing within the community.

Members of the public who wish to learn more about registrants in their neighborhood are encouraged to visit the Megan’s Law website for additional information. In accordance with California’s Megan’s Law, certain information about registered sex offenders is made available to the public for awareness and safety, though not all registrants are subject to public disclosure.

The Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety remains committed to protecting the community through proactive policing, partnerships with allied agencies, and continued monitoring of convicted offenders living within the city.

Anyone with questions regarding this operation is encouraged to contact Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety Detective Sergeant Quinn at (707) 588-3514.
