Road Work Notice: June 1 - June 5 - 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. daily
Road Closures (expect detours during work hours, roads will reopen at night):
- Union St. (Willow St to Clay St) - detour via Willow St. and Silver St.
- Somerville St. (Beech St. to Maple St.) - detours via Silver St.

- Bodwell Rd (Cohas Ave to Sunset Pine Dr.)
- Sheffield Rd (S. Willow St to S. Mammoth Rd.)
- South Mammoth Rd (at Corning Rd and Sheffield Rd.)
Partial Lane Closures or Lane Shifts – Traffic to be maintained through the work zones
- Brown Ave. (Queen City Ave. to W. Baker St.) - Northbound traffic to be detoured, southbound to remain open.
- Cohas Ave. (Island Pond Rd to Greenwood Ct.) – Alternating one way traffic
- Old Cohas Ave. (Cohas Ave. to dead-end) – Alternating one way traffic
- Elm St (Calef Rd to Brown Ave.) – Alternating one way traffic
Temporary Lane Impacts - Traffic to be maintained through work zones
- Wilson St (Hayward St. to Valley St.) - Sidewalk to be impacted
- Cilley Rd., South Willow St., and Queen City Ave. - Temporary lane impacts
What to Expect and Important Notes
- Expect road closures and detours during construction hours.
- Please follow posted detour signs and allow extra travel time.
- Parking will be prohibited within the construction area.
- Drivers and pedestrians should use extreme caution when traveling past work zones, especially at night or in adverse weather when visibility is limited.
- Driveway access to local businesses and homes within closures will be maintained and closely coordinated by the Contractor.
- For lane shifts during construction, follow new lane markings, barricaded routes, or traffic cones and allow extra travel time.
- Whenever possible, we encourage drivers to plan ahead and avoid the construction area.
