GMI Asphalt LLC, the contractor for the Department of Public Works (DPW), will be installing granite curb at the intersection of Eddy Road and Bremer Street on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (weather permitting).
The section of Bremer Street at the Eddy Road intersection will be closed to through traffic during construction hours.
This work is part of a revised pedestrian crossing improvement project designed to enhance pedestrian safety and accessibility at the intersection.
Travelers are advised to be aware of this change, as it will modify the traffic pattern on Bremer Street. Please use caution when traveling through the area and pay close attention to all temporary traffic control devices, signage, and detour routes.
Motorists traveling through the area should use Kelley Street as a detour and follow all posted traffic control signs.
Residents and travelers should expect temporary delays and minor traffic disruptions while work is underway. Every effort will be made to complete the work as quickly as possible and minimize inconvenience.
